The Stonehouse

The Stonehouse

The Stonehouse restaurant is located in the heart of Tralee in the Town Square making it the perfect destination for tourists and locals alike.

This building was once known as The Exchange, and was the original labour exchange in Tralee. After that it became the private residence of Bishop Daly before eventually becoming a restaurant bakery in the 1970s.  Extensive refurbishment was undertaken in 2013 which included reverting to many of the building features from the original design.

Our menu is a satisfying mix of traditional Irish dishes such as Kilorglin Steak and Cromane Mussels, and Mediterranean dishes such as Moroccan Lamb Tagine, and Greek style feta salad.  Where possible, we source our ingredients locally, in particular our fish, poultry and meat. Our menu and specials vary with the seasonal availability of such ingredients.
