One of the busiest artists on the entertainment
scene presently must surely be 'Irish International Comedian',
Conal Gallen. As the saying goes, 'good news travels fast' this

award winning Conal Gallen, this year is certainly going to
be a memorable one as he entertains his fans and friends in
his professional world of comedy - Conal Gallen style. |

A highly caffeinated comedy - for a

SPEAKING IN TONGUES
Civic
Theatre in association with Quare Hawks Theatre Company
Wickedly comic, unbearably raw and strangely
tender, Speaking in Tongues is a seminal work. It is about mistakes
we make to patch things up. Four actors play nine characters
who are all interconnected but not in the way they believe.
The play is structured around three stories which give way to
and follow on from each other. Speaking in Tongues has been
a major international success. Written by an award-winning playwright
at the height of his powers, Bovell uses mystery as the driving
dramatic force, creating a poetic and intimate piece of contemporary
theatre. 'A virtuoso piece, its structure is as cohesive as
a spider's web.' (Sunday Tribune) |
