PROFESSIONAL CONTEMPORARY DANCE CLASS
In Association With Dance Ireland
Every Tuesday from 10am to 12pm
Catherine Young was dancer in residence with Kerry County Council from 2005-2009, working in collaboration with Siamsa tire. In 2008, she established Kerry Youth Dance Theatre which has subsequently led to her forming Kerry’s first professional contemporary dance company in 2010. Catherine’s classes fuse different styles of dance and begin with a strong yoga warm up. Her classes are highly physical with a strong focus on alignment, body awareness, musicality and rhythm.

ADULT DANCE WORKSHOPS
Every Thursday from 6.30 - 8.00pm from February 9th
Following the success of our Irish Dance Classes for Adults last year, Siamsa Tíre is happy to announce their return. Classes in Traditional Irish Dance are open to adults wishing to learn the unique Siamsa style of solo step dancing. Classes will commence in mid October and run until December.
