SIAMSA TÍRE’S AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE

Launched in 2007, Siamsa Tíre’s Find Out More Initiative continues this season with a host of opportunities to do exactly that – Find Out More!

We want to see more of you more often. So we thought we’d give you something extra…. Have you ever left a performance or concert and wished you could have found out more about the performers, asked them questions, or just talked to other members of the audience about their take on the show? Well here’s your chance. Siamsa Tíre’s Find Out More initiative helps you to do exactly that – meet the actors, the musicians, ask them questions; talk to the directors, the dancers, or even hone up your own performance skills.

Pre-show and post show talks, as well as workshops and masterclasses form part of this development. Wherever you see the Find Out More logo in our Event Guide, you’ll know we’ve added something special, and we do hope we’ll see more of you, more often!

Have A Look Behind The Scenes!

Would you like to know your way around the backstage area of the theatre and see what’s hidden behind those big dark walls that encircle you as you sit and enjoy the performances on stage? Well now is your chance. We at Siamsa Tíre are opening the corridors of the theatre to you on the first Friday of every month at 11am. The tour will give you a brief history of the organisation and the building as well as a look behind the scenes. And we’ll even give you a cup of tea or coffee before you leave!  There is no charge for the tour, but you must book a place in advance - all you have to do is ring our Box Office on 066-7123055.
