Ireland's National Folk Theatre At the heart of Siamsa Tire lies a five-person professional core group of full-time players supported by selected artists drawn from the local community but trained in the unique siamsa style and idiom. Full-time and community performers integrate and blend into a dedicated and talented team. Training occurs in the theatre and in the Tithe Siamsa (Folk Acadamies) at Finuge in North Kerry and Carraig in Corca Dhuibhne, the gaelic of Irish speaking area of the Dingle Peninsula.
